Founding MRPDA
- Myanmar Real Property Development Association (MRPDA) was established on March 20, 2017, in Yangon, Myanmar.
- According to Article 42 of the Company Law of Myanmar, it is an organization with limited liability by guarantee without adding shares. It is an association officially recognized by the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

The Myanmar Real Property Development Association (MRPDA), Yangon Branch, held its monthly township-level meeting today at 1:00 PM in the Associations main conference hall in Yangon.![]()

The meeting was attended by Central Vice-Chairman 1, the Central General Secretary, the Chairman and Executive Committee members of the Yangon Branch, as well as chairpersons, secretaries, executive committee members, and other members from township branches. Discussions focused on the Associations upcoming activities and organizational development initiatives.![]()

The meeting commenced with opening remarks from Deputy Central Vice-Chairman 1, U Wunna Soe, representing the Central Chairman. The Central General Secretary, Daw Lwin Lwin May, provided updates on membership matters. Following this, Yangon Branch Chairman U Boni Win, Deputy Chairman 1 U Hla Myint, Secretary Daw Khin Thida Htun, Joint/Secretary 1 Daw Aye Nwet, and Joint/Secretary 2 Daw Khine Thida Oo discussed plans for the continued establishment of township branches across Yangon and strengthening local-level organizational structures. Additionally, discussions included strategies for effectively implementing Association policies and operations at the township level, and enhancing collaboration between property buyers, customers, and members.![]()

The meeting also addressed the planning and implementation of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) training programs. These trainings will be conducted at district and township levels to increase participation among members. Given that the real estate sector must strictly adhere to AML/CFT regulations, these programs aim to improve members legal knowledge and compliance practices.![]()

Furthermore, the meeting explored the continuation of professional development, specialized courses, and livelihood-focused training programs to enhance members skills and overall business quality in the real estate sector.![]()
Participants shared insights on current township branch activities, membership expansion, organizational cohesion, and future initiatives. They agreed to work collaboratively to ensure the successful achievement of the Associations objectives.![]()

On (30.3.2026), the Myanmar Real Property Development Association (MRPDA), Yangon Region Branch, organized the AML/CFT Law ![]()
Information and Awareness Training Course No. (44/2026) for Real Estate Agents and the “Introduction to FATF Global Standards, Methods and Procedures” ![]()
Advanced Training Course was successfully held at the Sky Star Hotel in Yangon. ![]()
A total of (2447) MRPDA members ![]()
attended the training course, ![]()
which provided an in-depth explanation of the importance of AML/CFT laws in the real estate industry. ![]()
The event was opened by U Zaw Moe Htike, District Administrator, Thingan Gyun District General Administration Department, and U Nanda Kyaw, Central Chairman of MRPDA, delivered a welcoming speech. ![]()
Afterwards, U Boni Win, Chairman of the MRPDA Yangon Region Branch Office, continued to explain the purpose of the training. MRPDA Central Vice Chairman (1) U Wunna Soe gave a lecture on “FATF global standards and procedures, aiming to enable real estate agents to apply them in their practical work. ![]()

Furthermore, the General Administration Department and FIU gave lectures on AML/CFT laws, the YCDC Department of Land Management Laws, the Internal Revenue Department on Real Estate Sales/Purchase Tax, and Professor Lin Thaik Myint gave lectures on Real Estate Agents and Speaking Skills. ![]()

MRPDA members from Mandalay Region, Bago Region, Mon State, and Nay Pyi Taw also participated in the training, and the participants were encouraged to adhere to the law and work rules. ![]()
